Kori A. Bolden is a disciple, wife, mother, and writer in the final stages of publishing her first book, Autoimmune to Christ: How My Journey Through Chronic Dis-ease Regenerated My Faith in Jesus.

Shortly after graduating from Howard University in May of 2012, Kori was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis (pronounced dur-mat-oh-my-oh-sight-is): a chronic, debilitating condition marked by severe inflammation of the skin and muscle tissue. Although Kori didn’t understand why God had allowed her to experience such misery, He revealed to her over time that her physical ailment was merely a depiction of the deeper spiritual disease of humanity.

​Now, Kori's autoimmune journey has become a living parable of her journey to Christ: the  pain, the weakness, the fear, the hope, the healing, the renewal. And after 14 years of false starts and rewrites, she's finally ready to share the story of faith and regeneration that God was writing on her heart all along.
